- Mini Gan Izzy - 4 and 5 year Olds
- Gan Izzy - Ages 6-11 The groups are divided by age.
- Pioneers - 12-13
Discounts
- Jewish campers that has never been to a Jewish Camp. Try out one week Gan Izzy for free upon approval.
- Referrals - Receive $50 credit for every new family that signs up with your referral.
Other potential scholarships available for those that need, please contact us for more info.
No Jewish child will be denied a Jewish camp experience due to lack of funds.
Activities
Every day at Camp Gan Israel is filled with diverse, exciting recreational activities including trips, swimming, sports, nature, art, science, special events & shows.
Our full schedule this year will be available closer to start of camp.
Personal Property
Please label all clothing, towels, sunblock, and other personal items. We cannot be responsible for non-labeled lost items. Personal sports equipment such as baseball bats, hockey sticks, sports balls, etc. will be stored by the counselor and used under staff supervision. Bring a sweater, sweatshirt, or winter jacket every day. Even if the weather is nice, we will be traveling to different areas around the bay that may be cooler.
Outdoor Gear
Please pack a sweater or sweatshirt every day (except during a heat wave). Please apply sunblock prior to camp.
Food
Camp is not providing breakfast or lunch. Campers should eat breakfast before coming to camp. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies.
Please bring a Kosher lunch and 2 LARGE snacks every day. Include a drink. Drinking water will be available. Campers will be encouraged to hydrate often, especially during outdoor sports and activities. Please send your child with a reusable water bottle marked with their name.Camp generally provides a small afternoon snack, such as ice pops, fruit, crackers, chips and popcorn.
Medication
Your child's counselor will be available for administering medications. All medication to be administered during camp hours must be clearly marked with camper's name. A separate note containing dosage instruction and parent signature must be sent as well.
Camper Release
Parents wishing to have their child released during camp to anyone other than themselves or their designated substitute must make prior arrangements with the camp director.
