Please read this information and agreement carefully before registering for Hebrew School. By submitting your registration, you are agreeing to the following terms, conditions and waivers. 

 

1. Coronavirus / COVID-19 Risks

 

 COVID-19 Coronavirus is an extremely contagious virus that spreads easily through person-to-person contact. COVID-19 can lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, and death. Participating in Hebrew School can increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. While we are taking precautions to mitigate the risks, our hebrew school in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in our programs.  On behalf of myself and my child, I knowingly and freely, assume all such risks, both known and unknown, relating to my child’s participation in Hebrew school and/or arising from or relating to COVID‐19, and I hereby waive, release, hold harmless and agree not to sue Chabad Hebrew School, its employees, agents and representatives concerning any liability arising out of or related to COVID-19 or Chabad Hebrew School’s actions or omissions regarding COVID-19 or the pandemic.  

 

2. Health Guidelines I agree to follow all the health guidelines being introduced at Hebrew School including checking my child's temperature and not bringing them in if they are displaying a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or other flu symptoms; or being around someone who may have the virus. I understand that all children will be subjected an electronic temperature check and they will be sent home if a fever is found.

 

3. Parental Consent Parental consent for participation in all activities of Hebrew School is fully implied unless specifically excluded during the registration process. 

 

4. Payments, Cancellations & Discounts 
  • All Hebrew School registrations require a scheduled payment plan to be confirmed. Without a payment, schedule registrations are not saved and your place is not confirmed.

Refund policy: Refunds will only be for full semesters, if a child already started a semester there will not be a refund for that semester. 

5. Dismissal of a student Hebrew School reserves the right to dismiss, at its sole discretion, any student whose condition, conduct, influence or behavior is deemed unsatisfactory or detrimental to the best interests of the school or fellow students or who violates school rules and regulations, in which case no refunds will be made. 

 

6. Medical Care In the event of an emergency, serious illness, or accident, Hebrew School has permission to arrange for any necessary first-aid or care by a licensed physician for any child/ren attending Hebrew School. Every effort will be made to contact the parent/guardian and emergency contacts first. Should it be necessary for the well being of the student to utilize outside medical or dental services all expenses involved will be paid for by the parent. Parents are required to notify Hebrew School in a timely manner of any infectious diseases or infestations acquired by a camper during their participation at Hebrew School. 

 

7. Images Etc. Permission is hereby given for Hebrew School in promoting and in other ventures directly relating to Hebrew School including our Facebook page (i) digital, photographic, video, and audio images or likenesses of camper; and (ii) statements, articles, names, music, art, photographs, audio recordings, films and videos created by students or originating from Hebrew School or from a Hebrew School-related activity.

 

 8. Indemnify & Hold Harmless I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chabad's Hebrew School, and its officers, employees, volunteers or assigns from any liability concerning my child’s involvement in Hebrew School and further agree that the use of any premises during the program is made at my own risk. By registering my child to Hebrew School I am signing on this agreement, I certify that I have legal capacity to act as the parent/guardian of the named minor. I further understand that the terms of this agreement are legally binding and certify that I am signing this agreement, after having carefully read it, of my own free will.

Participating in Camp Gan Israel can increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. While we are taking precautions to mitigate the risks, Camp Gan Israel in no way warrants that COVID-19 infection will not occur through participation in our programs this summer.  On behalf of myself and my child, I knowingly and freely, assume all such risks, both known and unknown, relating to my child’s participation in Camp Gan Israel and/or arising from or relating to COVID‐19, and I hereby waive, release, hold harmless and agree not to sue Camp Gan Israel, its employees, agents and representatives concerning any liability arising out of or related to COVID-19 or Camp Gan Israel’s actions or omissions regarding COVID-19 or the pandemic.  

 

2. Health Guidelines I agree to follow all the health guidelines being introduced at camp this summer including checking my child's temperature before coming to camp each morning and not bringing them in if they are displaying a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or other flu symptoms; or after traveling out of the area or being around someone who may have the virus. I understand that all children will be subjected to a health screening before entering camp each morning including an electronic temperature check and they will be sent home if a fever is found.

 

 3. Parental Consent Parental consent for participation in all activities of Camp Gan Israel is fully implied unless specifically excluded during the registration process. 

 

4. Payments, Cancellations & Discounts 
  • All camp registrations require a scheduled payment plan to be confirmed. Without a payment, schedule registrations are not saved and your place is not confirmed.

Refund policy:

  • 2021 Full refund if county places restrictions on opening day camps.
  • Until June 1: Full refund available for any reason, no extra fees.
  • From June 2: Refund minus $50 
  • Other cancellations: From 7 days before program start date there is a $200 cancellation fee.
